A main-stay of the Auto-Sleeper van range and still as popular as ever. Hence, this is because Auto-Sleepers have got everything right with this model, size, layout and specification. The layout features a front lounge with travel seat, side kitchen and a shower room opposite. Thus, all of this is packaged into a chassis that’s only 5.4 meters long.

Then, there’s the specification, simply unmatched by any other manufacturer. So, choose one of the available packs and get cab air conditioning, cruise control, solar panel. Customers even get uprated, 6kw heating and heated tank blankets, upgraded insulation and thermal cab blinds.

Auto-Sleeper Fairford Plus (2024 MY) 4 Berth / 4 Belt

The Fairford Plus is a spacious four berth built on the extra long wheel based Fiat Ducato and is ready for every adventure. Featuring a versatile dinette layout with practical dinette seating in the front that leads through to large bed area which can be converted into a class leading garage space to deliver maximum flexibility. Our Fairford Plus has the Premium and Winter pack options to enhance the panel van’s specification. In fact, Fiat are a long-time, trusted partner of Auto-Sleepers and offer excellent cab / chassis features too. In addition, there’s also the option of having an automatic 9 speed gearbox.

So, standard features like electric windows, power steering, and airbags have been part of the van conversion’s DNA for some time. However, Premium Pack with Winter pack options takes the specification to a much higher level. In addition, the premium pack also contains  Air Top suspension with twin leaf rear suspension for improved handling. Also, many other features are standard too, like Bluetooth or USB points.

Auto-Sleepers and Fiat, Tried and Tested

So, the Fiat Ducato Extra-Long van, being a longer wheelbase version has proved an invaluable addition to the Auto-Sleepers range. Thus, the Auto-Sleeper Fairford Plus 2024 model is a genuine four berth with four seat belts. Therefore, it is an ideal leisure vehicle for 2 or 4. Complete with class leading garage space.

The layout is flexible, with the rear double bed, and living in the dinette area, this still leaves a 90cm high garage space below the made up bed. Others use it more traditionally, as a conventional 4 berth. The Premium Pack offers cab air conditioning, colour reversing camera and cruise control as well as electric windows and mirrors. There’s also an 80w solar panel, awning, alloy wheels and  air top suspension. The Fiat alloy wheels combine with any of the metallic finishes to provide a stunning external look.

.The Symbol Plus combines the front lounge of the standard Symbol with the Rear Kitchen and shower room of the outgoing Stanway. Thus, we have a hybrid, longer than the standard Symbol but more practical and open than the Stanway. So, there’s a practical, open front lounge with sofa and single travel seat and great, spacious rear kitchen. Both of these features loved by previous Symbol and Stanway owners alike.

The Symbol Plus can’t be called large though, at just under 6-meters its large enough to be comfortable and small enough to be practical. Thus, it’s a van conversion to use anywhere and any-time. With the large, opening side door and wind-out awning, why not take advantage from the comfortable lounge.

Although sleeping 2, the Symbol Plus has seat belts for 3, so a day out with a friend or occasional passenger isn’t a problem. The lounge converts easily into either two single beds or a large double.

The kitchen is very well equipped, as all Auto-Sleepers are. It features a gas hob, fridge and combination oven and grill. There’s even a microwave and coffee maker, all the mod-cons of home.

The corner shower room features an extractor fan and cassette toilet with shower over. While the useful, full-height storage cupboard also cleverly converts the kitchen into a private dressing room when required.

In fact, the way that the Warwick XL has been developed makes this model very popular. The layout simply works very well, no doubt born out of the original Warwick Duo, that is still available and going strong.
